Carrie Underwood Extends Her Play On Tour

Carrie Underwood’s upcoming headlining tour will begin in a few weeks and she has added additional shows to the schedule.  Everything will get started on March 11 in Reading, PA at Sovereign Center and will now continue through a June 20 show in Saskatoon, SK at Credit Union Centre.  This is nearly a month later than the original plan.

Some of the other highlighted shows include March 31 in Rochester, NY at Blue Cross Arena, April 10 in Rockford, Il at Rockford MetroCentre and May 7 in New Orleans, LA at Lakefront Arena.

Support for the tour be from Craig Morgan and Sons of Sylvia.

Eventbrite Announced “Eventbrite for Causes”

Jimmy Buffett Announces 2010 Concert Dates

One of the most popular touring artists, Jimmy Buffett, has announced dates for his 2010 tour.  Everything will get kicked off on April 24 in Tampa, FL at Ford Ampthitheatre and will wrap up on September 4 in Bristow, VA at Jiffy Lube Live.

Some of the other highlighted shows for Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band include May 1 in Nasville, TN at Sommet Center, June 17 & 19 in Mansfield, MA at Comcast Center and August 14 in Bridgeview, IL at Toyota Park.

Buffett will be touring in support of his 28th studio album, “Buffett Hotel,” which was released in December 2009.  The album topped the independent albums chart.

Jack Johnson Brings Back Kokua Festival

After taking 2009 off Jack Johnson will bring back the Kokua Festival in 2010.  The festival will help support Johnson’s foundation, The Kokua Foundation.  The festival will take place over Earth Day weekend on April 23-24 at the Waikiki Shell in Honolulu, HI.

Johnson will be the festivals headliner and he will be joined by Ziggy Marley and Taj Mahal.

This will be the sixth year for Johnson’s Kokua Festival which help benefit environmental issues. The Kokua foundation was founded by Hawaii native Jack Johnson and his wife and it helps promote environmental education in schools and communities.

Johnson is gearing up for his newest album to be released on June 1 and is also preparing a world tour which will be announced in March.  Johnson’s last album”Sleep Through the Static,” was released in 2008 and reached #1 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Former Ticketmaster CEO Fred Rosen Joins Englander Knabe & Allen
