Dave Matthews Band Loses Keyboardist

Just days before Dave Matthews Band is to set out on it’s extensive annual North American tour it has lost its Keyboardist.  Butch Taylor, who has been with the band since the 2001 tour, decided to leave the band very unexpectedly.

The bands website reported this announcement but didn’t give many details.  “We are saddened by this sudden news, but he has our full support.”

Before Dave Matthews Band was created Taylor played with the bands drummer, Carter Beauford and Dave Matthews Band guest guitarist Tim Reynolds.
