Nelly Heads On Tour Supporting New Album

In 2007 Nelly announced that he was releasing his 5th studio album titled, “Brass Knuckles.”  Now after several delays by his recording company Universal Records the album is Slated to hit shelves on September 16.

To support the release of his album, Nelly is scheduled to tour throughout the US.  So far he is stopping in 13 cities with more possibly to be announced later.  Things will kick off on September 12 in Reno Nevada and is currently scheduled to run until October 8th in St Paul, MN.

Michael Bublé Set To Tour In The US

After an extremely popular US tour in the winter of 2007, Michael Buble will once again hit the stage in many US cities.  Buble is currently wrapping up a tour throughout the UK and Australia but will begin his US Stay on October 1in Baltimore.  Buble is promoting the 2007 album, “Call Me Irresponsible.”

As you will see in the schedule there is a large gap in between his last scheduled October show and the final stop on his tour, Uncasville, CT on December 2-3.  Not to worry however.  Buble has said on his official website that more dates are yet to come.

Cheetah Girls Will Tour Once Again This Fall

The Cheetah Girls will head on tour this fall in support of the upcoming release of the Disney Channel movie, “The Cheetah Girls: One World” and a supporting soundtrack.  The One World tour will begin on October 8 in Austin, TX and will extend until December 21 in San Diego, CA.

The movie is scheduled to be premiered on the Disney Channel on August 22.  The accompanying soundtrack will include a moxute or Hip-hop, R&B and also some Indian inspired sounds.

US Gymnastics Stars Will Tour After Olympics

After winning gold and silver in last nights individual gymnastics competition the demand to see these young stars is bound to be high.  We will soon find out as they are scheduled to head on tour shortly after returning to the United States the end of the month. 

The Tour of Gymnastics Superstars will kick off in Reno on September 7 and wrap up on Novermber 16 in Kansas City.  Gymnists participating will include gold medalist Nastia Liukin, the current world champion and silver medalist Shawn Johnson along with Chellsie Memmel, Morgan Hamm, Paul Hamm, Shannon Miller, Blaine Wilson plus many more.

Daughtry Will Support New Album With Tour

Former American Idol contestant, Chris Daughtry is celerabrating the huge success of his debut album by releasing a deluxe copy of it on September 9.  To support this release Daughtry will perform a 15 show tour throughout August and September.  They will kick it off on August 15 in Las Vegas and continue until wrapping it up on September 13 in York, PA.

The self titled album from Daughty has already been certified platinum in both the US and Canada while going gold in a handful of other countries.  It had 3 overall number one songs including  “It’s Not Over,” “Home,” and “Feels Like Tonight.”  This new CD will incorporate the original 12 songs with 4 new songs.

Bruce Springsteen To Rock The Super Bowl

Currently finishing up the final leg of their 2007-2008 tour Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band has announced that they will be the headlining act for the Super Bowl XLIII in Tampa, Florida.  Reports from the New York Post say that Steven Van Zandt has already booked the Hard Rock Cafe for his Super Bowl Party. 

The last three Super Bowl Performances have included The Rolling Stone, Prince and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.

Coldplay Adds Four New Shows to North American Tour

After a very successful first leg of there fall tour, Coldplay is now touring through Europe.  They have also decided to add for more dates in the US when they return in October for a second round of US dates.  They have added an October 29th show in Boston, a October 31st show in Washington DC, a November 1st show in Philadelphia and a November 5 show in Atlanta.

Metallica Set To Wow Crowds This Fall

In support of the bands first studio album in five years, Metallica will head out on a lengthy North American tour this fall.  There album, “Death Megnetic” is scheduled to hit shelves on September 12 and the tour will kick off on October 21 in Glendale, Arizona.  The band will wrap things up on January 31 in Newark, New Jersey.

Touring with Metallica will be heavy metal bands, The Sword, Down, Lamb of God and Machine Head.  The sword is the only group scheduled to play all 32 dates. 

Metallica has been a household name for heavy metal music since the early 1980’s when they released their first album, “Kill ‘Em All.”  This upcoming album will be the groups 9th studio album.  This will be a very popular tour so make sure you get your Metallica Tickets before they sell out.

In Less than one month legendary group, The Eagles, will begin a short Fall tour.  Begining in Tulsa, Oklahoma on September 6 they will hit 12 different cities with it all wrapping up on October 26 in Los Angeles.
