Billy Joel & Elton John Face 2 Face in 2009
Two of musics legendary artists, Billy Joel and Elton John will be joining forces in 2009 for thew Face 2 Face tour. Currently tour dates are being rolled out gradually. The shows are slated to begin on March 2 in Jacksonville, FL and continue through March 28 in Anaheim, CA. The duo will be playing at big venues such as St Pete Times Forum in Tampa, FL and Toyota Center in Houston, TX along with others. More dates are expected to be added later.
In a statement released on Johns website he stated that the shows will begin with duet songs between the two and then they will separate to play their individual acts.
While appearing on “The View” this past November said, “t’s two people for the price of one. Our ticket prices are the same as you’d see anyone else, but there’s two of us. In this day and age, we hope to be getting people value for their money.”
