Yoko Ono and the Plastic Ono Band Will Resurrect For One Night
Yoko Ono has confirmed a one night only show to take place on February 16 in Brooklyn, NY. The event at Brooklyn Academy of Music’s Gilman Opera House will be the first in 40 years for the Plastic Ono Band. The band will consist of Ono herself along with son Sean Lennon, Cornelius, Yuka Honda and Haruomi Hosono.
In addition to the Plactic Ono Band the night will also include, Eric Clapton, Paul Simon and Eric Simon as well as Sonic Youth duo Thurston Moore and Kim Gordon.
Plastic Ono Band will also be performing as a part of Noise Pop Festival on February 23. The event will canvas numerous venues around San Francisco, CA.

Mariah Carey Plans Early 2010 Tour Dates
Hit R&B singer Mariah Carey will kick off 2010 with a two month tour. The upcoming tour will be the first for Carey in over three years. Everything will get started on New Years Eve with a show in New York, NY at Madison Square Garden and will wrap up on February 27 in Las Vegas, NV at Pearl Concert Theater.
Some of the highlights of the upcoming tour include January 27 in Washington DC at DAR Constitution Hall, February 13 in Chicago, IL at United Center and February 23 in Los Angeles, CA at Gibson Theatre. Carey will also play three Canadian shows in Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto on February 4, 6, 9 respectively.
The upcoming tour will be in support of Carey’s twelfth album, ”Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel.” The album debuted at #3 on the Billboard top 200 after its release on September 29.

Michael Buble Announces 2010 “Crazy Love” Tour Dates
One of Canada’s biggest selling music names is at it again. Michael Buble has announced plans for a 2010 tour in support of his most recent album, “Crazy Love.” Buble’s Spring North American shows will get started on March 10 in Orlando, FL and will wrap up twenty shows later on April 9 in Los Angeles, CA. Venues for the entire tour have yet to be released. On sales information for tickets will be announced in the next couple of weeks.
The spring tour dates will be just the beginning of Bubles world tour which will stretch into 2011. Buble has already released twenty other dates beginning in May for both the UK and the rest of Europe. More shows for North America are expected by the start of 2010.
Buble’s latest album, “Crazy Love, ” was released early in October and instantly reached #1 on the Billboard top 200 chart.
