Jay-Z, Muse and Gorillaz Announced as Coachella Headliners
Coachella which is one of music’s hottest festivals every summer have announced that Jay-Z, Muse and Gorillaz will be the headliners for the 2010 festival at Empire Polo Club in Indio, CA.
The festival will get kicked off on April 16 and run through April 18. The three leading groups will be the headliners of more that 130 different bands to play on five different stages.
The biggest name on the list of performers includes Pavement which was a hit 90’s band who recently announced an international reunion tour.
Tickets for this years festival will go on sale Friday as just like previous years fans will be able to take part in a layaway program where they can pay for their tickets with installment payments. Below is a list of performers by day.

Simon and Garfunkel Will Headline the 2010 Jazz Festival
Simon and Garfunkel have recently been added to the list of performers at this years 41st annual New Orleans Jazz Festival. This is good news for their fans in North America after being disappointed in 2009. The duo toured for the first time in five years in 2009 but they never made it outside of Australia and New Zealand.
The jazz fest will take place on two consecutive weekend, April 23-25 and April 29-May 2. The duo is schedule to perform on April 24.
Other bands that will play during this years festival include, Pearl Jam, Aretha Franklin, Van Morrison, Lionel Richie and the Allman Brothers Band.

Bonnaroo Music Festival Announce 2010 Dates
For all you Bonnaroo Music Festival goers you can rest assured that the heavily popular event is back again in 2010 and the dates have officially been released along with on sale information. The dates for next years event will be from June 10-13, 2010.
Ticket presales for the event will begin on November 27 at 12 PM (EST). They will be selling a limited number of 4 day passes for $209.50 plus fees. Once that amount is gone the will start gradually raising the prices to $224.50 then $234.50 and finally ending at $249.50. The presale will continue through December 31 and the regular on sales will be followed in January-February.
Last you the festival debuts the payment plan system where attendees could pay for their tickets in $50 installments. Because of its success they will be implementing a similar feature this year.
No lineup has been announced but you should be seeing leading names announced during the on sales early next year. Rolling stone has reported that Pavement, who recently reunited, could be the favorite to headline the 2010 Bonnaroo Music Festival.

Phish Announce Fall Tour Dates
Phish recently played to a bunch of spring and summer sold out crowds. They will now hit the road again with the hopes of amounting just as much success. The popular jam band announced that it will kick things off on November 18 in Detroit, MI at Cabo Arena and they will play through a December 5 show in Charlottesville, VA at John Paul Jones Arena.
Other cities that will get to enjoy Phish include, Cincinnati, OH; Syracuse, NY; Philadelphia, PA; Albany, NY; Portland, ME and New York, NY. Phish Tickets will go onsale October 23-24 although fan club presales are currently going on.
The upcoming tour will get kicked off with the bands annual festival at Indio Polo Club in Indio, CA. The festival which is also known as Festival 8 will incorporate 8 different sets by the band over the 3 day halloween weekend, October 30 - November 1.

Taylor Swift Extends “Fearless” Tour Dates Into 2010
One of country music biggest stars, Taylor Swift, has announced they she will continue with her current “Fearless” tour into 2010. She will kick off the tour on March 4, 2010 in Tampa, FL. She currently has 37 shows on the lineup but no venues have been set. The tour will wrap up on June 2 in Washington DC.
Her new tour will include many multi night stay in cities such as, Philadelphia, PA on March 18-19, Detroit, MI on March 26-27, Denver, CO on April 6-7 along with other. She will also play three shows north of the border in Canada with shows on May 20 in Ottawa, ON and May 21-22 in Toronto, ON.
Taylor Swift will be joined on the road by American Idol contestant Kellie Pickler and Gloriana. Both are currently tour with her this fall.
Swift never expected the first leg of the tour to be as much of a success as it actually was. ”I always expected to have to do a lot of stressing out about selling tickets,” Swift recently stated. “And then I went on my first headlining tour, and everything just sold out.”
She continued, “I’ve never expected that kind of success. I’ve never just felt entitled to my shows selling out or things like this happening to me, but the fact that they’ve happened to me has been wonderful.”

Kenny Chesney Will Headline BamaJam in 2010
One of Country musics biggest stars Kenny Chesney has been announced as the headliner for next years 3rd annual BamaJam music festival in Enterprise, AL on June 3-5.
This years festival which was held last month featured many different types of music from country to rock and alternative. The headliners included, Taylor Swift, Kid Rock, Alan Jackson, The Black Crowes and Brooks and Dunn.
Festival promoters Verizon and Ronnie Gilley Entertainment deemed this years festival a great success as it saw crowds increase from 75,000 on the opening day to over 121,000 on the final day.
