Daughtry Adds Additional Dates to its North America Tour
Former American Idol contestant Chris Daughtry and his band have announced additional tour dates to their 2010 spring schedule. They will get everything started on March 18 in Baltimore, MD at 1st Mariner Arena and will wrap things up on June 19 in Rochester, NY at Blue Cross Arena.
Some of the highlighted shows along the way include April 28 in Glendale, AZ at Jobing.com Arena, May 3 in Los Angeles, CA at Nokia Theater, May 19 in Minneapolis, MN at Target Center and June 11 in Charlotte, NC at Time Warner Cable Arena.
Daughtry will be touring in support of their 2009 album, “Leave This Town,” which debuted in the #1 spot of the Billboard Top 200.
“Growing up, you dream about singing one of your songs in front of a packed house,” Daughtry said in an interview “I still get chills when we’re playing and I hear the crowd singing louder than we are.”

Yoko Ono and the Plastic Ono Band Will Resurrect For One Night
Yoko Ono has confirmed a one night only show to take place on February 16 in Brooklyn, NY. The event at Brooklyn Academy of Music’s Gilman Opera House will be the first in 40 years for the Plastic Ono Band. The band will consist of Ono herself along with son Sean Lennon, Cornelius, Yuka Honda and Haruomi Hosono.
In addition to the Plactic Ono Band the night will also include, Eric Clapton, Paul Simon and Eric Simon as well as Sonic Youth duo Thurston Moore and Kim Gordon.
Plastic Ono Band will also be performing as a part of Noise Pop Festival on February 23. The event will canvas numerous venues around San Francisco, CA.

Nickelback Tour Expands its Stay in North America During 2010
Previously we announced that Nickelback would bring its “Dark Horse” tour back to North America for eleven more shows. Well they have now increased the number to a full 30 shows. They will kick everything off on April 6 in London, ON at John Labott Centre and will play through a June 3 show in Vancouver, BC at General Motors Place.
Other highlighted shows during the spring tour include April 13 in Washington DC at Verizon Center, May 15 in Dallas, TX at American Airline Center and May 24 in Minneapolis, MN at Target Center.
Nickelback has been touring in support of its 2008 album “Dark Horse since February 2009 with multiple runs in both Europe and North America.

Simon and Garfunkel Will Headline the 2010 Jazz Festival
Simon and Garfunkel have recently been added to the list of performers at this years 41st annual New Orleans Jazz Festival. This is good news for their fans in North America after being disappointed in 2009. The duo toured for the first time in five years in 2009 but they never made it outside of Australia and New Zealand.
The jazz fest will take place on two consecutive weekend, April 23-25 and April 29-May 2. The duo is schedule to perform on April 24.
Other bands that will play during this years festival include, Pearl Jam, Aretha Franklin, Van Morrison, Lionel Richie and the Allman Brothers Band.

Travis Tritt Announces 2010 Concert Dates
Country music star Travis Tritt has announced that he has laid plans for a 15 show tour that will begin on January 15 in Biloxi, MS at Hard Rock. Tritt will wrap things up on February 27 in Primm, NV at Apple River Country Splash. On top of these shows Tritt also has scheduled 5 other shows through the middle of the summer.
Some of the highlighted shows during the winter tour includes Dover, DE at Dover Downs Hotel & Casino, Virginia Beach, VA at Sandler Center for the Performing Arts and Reno, NV at Knitting Factory Concert House.
Tritt is touring behind is last album, “The Storm,” which was released in August 2007.

Timbaland Plans 2010 Concert Tour
Timbaland who is most well know for producing albums for some of the biggest stars in music including Justin Timberlake, Madonna and other will head on tour to perform some of his own work. Timbaland will kick things off on January 15 in Norfolk, VA at NorVa and will continue through a February 3 show in Dallas, TX at House of Blues.
Some of the other highlighted shows include January 16 in Washington DC at 9:30 Club, January 19 in Boston, MA at House of Blues and January 26 in Englewood, CO at Gothic Theatre.
Timbaland will be touring in support of his third studio album, “Shock Value II,” which was released on December 8. The album debuted at #36 on the Billboard top 200. This was rather disappointing for a producer that is used to putting out #1 hits for artists.
