Chicago Will Tour This Summer With Earth, Wind And Fire
Two of the biggest names in classic rock will be joining forces for a summer tour. Chicago and Earth, Wind and Fire will kick off their 2009 summer tour on June 5 in Orange Beach, AL. They will play in 30 cities before wrapping things up on August 1 in Stateline, NV.
Some of the highlighted shows include a night night stand in Atlanta City, NJ at Borgata Event Center, a show in Rosemont, IL at Allstate Arena and in Las Vegas, NV at The Joint.
The summer tour will include 4 different parts. They will open and close each show performing together and then they will also have their own individual sets. This will be the groups first headlining tours since 2004-05.
Chicago keyboardist Robert Lamm added, “Earth, Wind & Fire are phenomenal. When we first decided to tour together, we knew it would be good, but I don’t think we could have guessed that the Earth, Wind & Fire-Chicago shows would be some of our all-time favorites to play.”
