Chickenfoot Tour Dates Announced For North America
Newly formed rock group has announced that they will set out on a North American tour that will follow up there small test tour of clubs and theaters this past May. They will kick things off on August 2 in Halifax, NS at Citadel Hill. Things will wrap up on September 5 in Stateline, NV at Harvey’s Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena.
Some of the highlighted stops on the tour include, Chicago Theatre in Chicago, IL; Beacon Theatre in New York and Bank of America Pavilion in Boston, MA. As of today there have been no scheduled shows made for the west coast and other than the tour kickoff show there is only one other Canada show planned and that is in Toronto, ON on August 4.
Tour plans have not been released but it is expected the band will implement the same no scalping process it used in May. All tickets were available at will call only and fans were required to show a valid ID.
Chickenfoot is comprised of ex Van Halen members Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony, Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith and guitarist Joe Satriani. That band is touring in support of its first album, “Chickenfoot,” which was released on June 5.
