Daughtry Announces Late 2009 Tour Dates
As it whines down its summer tour, rock band Daughtry is starting to announce plans for a late 2009 tour. The tour will get kicked off on October 19 at Kansas ExpoCentre in Topeka, KS. The band will play through a December 20 show at Roberts Stadium in Evansville, IN.
The band, led by singer Chris Daughtry will play 36 shows over a nine week span with some of the highlights including, October 22 in Ames, IA at Holton Coliseum, November 6 in Atlantic City, NJ at Mark G. Etess Arena and December 12 in San Antonio, TX at Freeman Coliseum.
Daughtry will be continuing its support of their July 2009 album titled, “Leave This Town.” The album debuted on the Billboard top 200 at #1 and sold over 250,000 in it’s first week.
“We dreamed about how it would feel playing these songs to packed arenas, and we’re excited to get our chance,” the singer said about the upcoming arena tour. “We have a great show planned and can’t wait to hit the road to share it with our fans.”
