Daughtry Tour Heads For The Clubs In August
Rock group Daughtry, who is led by front man and former American Idol contestant Chris Daughtry will tour through small intimate clubs and theaters in August. Daughtry who would undoubtably fill arenas or amphitheaters want to do this as a tribute to its loyal fans.
They will kick off their 13 city tour on August 2 in Lake Buena Vista, FL at the House of Blues and will play through an August 22 show at Pure in Las Vegas, NV. Other notable stops include, Vic Theater in Chicago, IL; The Cabooze in Minneapolis, MN and The Fillmore in San Francisco, CA.
“This club tour is a thank you to our fans. It’s a great way for them to see us up close and, more importantly, at a cheap price,” Chris Daughtry said in a statement.
In 2006 Daughtry released its self titled album and it soon after reached #1 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. It has spend a total of 136 weeks on the chart.
