Jay-Z Announces New Tour Dates For 2009
Jay-Z recently wrapped up his summer tour with Ciara and he has announced plans to hit the road again late in 2009. He will kick things off on October 9 in University Park, PA at Bryce Jordan center and will conclude the tour on November 22 in Austin, TX at Frank Erwin Center.
Some of the highlighted shows along the way include; October 14 in Calgary, AB at Pengrowth Saddledome, October 25 in Amherst, MA at Mullins Center and November 20 in El Paso, TX at UTEP Don Haskins Center.
In addition to his summer tour Jay-Z played a surprise show. He replaced Beastie Boys at All Points West Festival after Adam “MCA” Yauch began to undergo cancer treatment. He is also slated to perform at a charity event on September 11 where all of the proceeds will go to the New York Police & Fire Widows’ & Children’s Benefit Fund.
Jay-Z’s album, “The BluePrint 3″ will hit shelves on September 11.
