Katy Perry Will Launch Tour in 2009

2008 has been a year that Katy Perry Will never forget.  She has made a name for herself all across the world with hit songs, “I kissed A Girl,” and “Hot N Cold.”  Now she is planning to head on tour in 2009.  The tour will cover not only North America but also parts of Europe.

She has a few shows set up for this December but the tour itself is scheduled to begin on January 23 in Seattle, WA.  She will cover the US before heading to Europe for a 10 city showing and then will wrap things up with my US shows ending on April 28 in St Petersburg, FL.

Perry became an instant sensation earlier in 2008 with hit single, “I Kissed a Girl.”  The single topped 18 different music charts across the world.  These included the Billboard Top 100 and the Pop 100 lists.

In September the second single off the certified gold album, “One of the Boys,” was released and titled, “Hot N Cold.”  This the two months since it release it has already broken into the top 5 of both the Top 100 and Pop 100 charts.
