Keith Urban Releases Summer Tour Dates
Keith Urban, One of country musics biggest stars, has announced tour dates for his 2009 summer tour. The “Escape Together” tour will get everything started in Uncasville, CT at Mohegan Sun Arena with a double set of shows on May 7-8. The North American part of the tour will wrap up in Charlottesville, VA on August 27.
Urban will play in 30 different cities with some of the highlights being a May 15 show in Rosemont, IL just outside Chicago, a show in Denver, CO on July 15 and a June 27 show in Des Moines, IA. You can expect to see more dates announced in the near future.
Urban will be touring with a number of high profile musicians this summer including Zac Brown Band, Sugarland, Dierks Bentley, Jason Aldean. They will all make appearances at different times throughout the tour. Taylor Swift will also be an opening act during the off dates of her own summer tour.
Urban will be releasing his next album, “Defying Gravity” on March 31. He will be touring in support of the anticipated album. This will be his 6th studio album and the first since the 2006 release of “Love, Pain & The Whole Crazy Thing,” which reached #3 on the Billboard Top 200.
