Leonard Cohen Will Tour For First Time In US Since 1993
One of the worlds iconic singer/songwriters has announced that he will play a set of shows in the United States this spring. The 28 city tour will kick off on April April 2 in Austin, TX and run through June 2 outside Denver in Morrison, CO.
Cohen will play in a majority of big city venues such as two shows at Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, an April 23 show at WaMu Theater in Seattle, WA, two shows at Chicago Theater in Chicago and two shows at Wang Theater in Boston. Cohen will also play 10 shows north of the border in Canada.
The tour will be produced by AEG and in a recent statement by the companies president of International touring Rob Hallett this was said, “We are delighted to finally bring this phenomenal tour to the USA, Having spent the last 12 months touring the World, from Romania to Australia from London to Rome, America will now get the opportunity to see the show that has enthralled over 750,000 concert goers across the world to date.”
The official tour announcement was made after Cohen’s sold out show at Beacon Theater in New York on February 19. He will also perform at the annual Coachella Festival.
