Maroon 5 Will Hit College Campuses in November
Pop/rock band Maroon 5 has announced that it will head to college campuses for a month long tour in November. The shows will get kicked off on November 2 in Murray, KY at Regional Events Center on the Murray State campus. After only eleven scheduled shows the group will wrap things up on November 22 in Wichita, KS at Charles Koch Arena on the Wichita State campus.
Some of the other highlighted tour date stops include, November 8 in Ithaca, NY at Cornell University, November 10 in Blacksburg, VA at Virginia Tech.
This upcoming tour for Maroon 5 will be early support for the bands upcoming album which has been tentatively scheduled for release in spring 2010.
“After spending the summer in the studio recording overseas, we are excited to be returning home and to the road this fall,” led man Adam Levine said on the band’s Web site. “It’s exciting for us to hit the stage again together and also get a chance to debut some of our new material that we’ve been recording for our fans.”
The new album will be the follow up to the groups second studio album, ”It Won’t Be Soon Before Long,” which reached #1 on the Billboard Top 200. It has since reach double platinum status.
