Paul McCartney Will Play at FedExField Outside Washington DC
Paul McCartney’s summer is slowly starting to fill up as he adds a performance at the home venue of the Washington Redskins, FedExField in Hanover, MD. The show will be put on by Live Nation and tickets will go onsale June 26.
Other scheduled McCartney shows include Halifax, NS on June 15 and Flushings, NY on June 17, 18 and 21. AEG Live will be the producer of the Citi Field shows.
Reports have it that McCartney will not be going out of a full tour as he wants to stay close to his family.
“This will be a great concert by one of the world’s most-loved performers,” said Daniel M. Snyder, owner of the Washington Redskins and FedExField, in a statement. “I’ve been a fan of Paul’s all my life, so it’s going to be a memorable night for us all.”
