Shakira Will Set Out on World Tour This Fall

shakiraShakira has announced plans to tour the world for the first time in three years.  Everything will getting started this fall in North America where the first three shows have been announced.

Shakira, who was born in Columbia, is currently set to kick the tour off in New York, NY at Madison Square Garden on September 21.  From there she has scheduled shows in Houston, TX at Toyota Center and then Los Angeles, CA at Staples Center.  Stay tuned for additional dates as they are announced.

This will be the first tour for Shakira since signing her deal with Live Nation in 2008.  She will be touring in support of her 2009 album release of “She Wolf.”  The album peaked at #15 on the Billboard top 200.
